(And if they start doing it down south, I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;d happen up here too soon enough.)<\/p>\n<p>I really think this is worrying.  It basically means the police can easily obtain DNA from any person they want, which can very easily lead to targeting.<\/p>\n<p>If people really think a big DNA database is the way to go, it&#8217;d be fairer to collect DNA samples from every person in the UK, including tourists.
