Now, that sounds pretty intrusive and annoying, but it isn&#8217;t.  It&#8217;s not glowing, so it feels more like having a clock on the wall that just happens to be readable in the dark.<\/p>\n<p>The alarm clock is also <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Radio_clock\">radio controlled<\/a>, which I thought was pretty normal, but which seemed to take Phyllis by surprise.
