I&#8217;m not entirely sure whether that can be done while keeping the currency, or whether it&#8217;d be better to issue a new currency, the Evr\u00f3pukr\u00f3na, at par with the euro.<\/p>\n<p>As far as I can tell, a currency board would give Iceland many of the benefits without all the potential problems that a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ecb.int\/press\/key\/date\/2008\/html\/sp080213.en.html\">unilateral introduction of the euro<\/a> would have.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>East African Currency board Originally uploaded by DEMOSH This is really annoying!
